I´m so sorry for being a bad blogger at the moment – the thing is that I have so much around me right now, and a lot to finish before I head for Chicago on Friday. Hopefully, my life will go back to my usual pace soon.
Today is the day for a Pizza recipe (or more like inspiration) – pizza is actually not that bad for you if you make it at home and can control the ingredients. It´s also a good thing to make with your kids, especially if they are picky with their food. Since they get to choose what they put on their pizza, they are more inclined to actually eat it.
This is how we make pizza in our home – for the adults and for the rascals:
Pizza dough for 4 persons (made from scratch or with pizza mix)
For the adults:
* Parma ham
* Thin slices of Brie cheese
And for the rascals:
* Sliced mushrooms
Make two nice, round pizzas. Put a thin layer of tomato puree over them, then sprinkle them slightly with grated cheeze. This will make them more moist.
Place all the ingredients you like on the pizzas and finish with some more cheese. Follow the advice for either the pizza mix or the dough you´ve made from scratch when it comes to the oven heat and time to bake.
This will make the kids this happy (or crazy, haha):
… while you can enjoy a pizza with grown-up flavours:
Well, there´s a little ingredients inspiration for you – I know how easy it is to get stuck and just forget to try new flavours. The rascals would be satisfied with ham and tomato every time, but as adults one might enjoy something else.
Tomorrow I´ll show you some more photos from Crete that I just hasn´t been able to upload yet, but until then:
